Course Overview

This program is designed for gastric surgeons who wish to develop basic skills and to learn key concepts on techniques. It involves a comprehensive one-day didactic and hands-on training course on live porcine models with the da Vinci Surgical System and one-day case observation. Institutional certification will be provided after the course.

  • Basic course (1 day, Intuitive Certification) + case observation (1 day, Yonsei Certification)
  • Registration : $3,500 per surgeon
    • - Fee covers all program instruction, materials and scheduled meals
    • - Attendees are responsible for their travel and additional meals

Course Objectives

Upon conclusion of the course, participants should be able to:
   - Describe the fundamental structures and basic functions of the robotic system
   - Describe the use of various instruments
   - Describe key steps in various robot-assisted procedures
